The Power of Honesty

In Kolkata lived a poor young man named Ravi who worked hard all day to feed his family. He was honest and kind. One day on the way he met an old man who looked very hungry. Without thinking, Ravi gave him his tiffin. The old man blessed him and said, "Son, good luck to you!"

That same evening Ravi found a gleaming purse behind an old house. When he opened it, it contained thousands of rupees and an identity card. Ravi knew that the purse was not his, so he decided to go to the address written on the identity card to find out its owner.

When he reached there he saw that it was the house of a rich businessman. Ravi returned the purse. The businessman was very happy to see this and asked, "Son, why didn't you keep it with you?"

Ravi said smilingly, "Money earned through hard work is real wealth."

The businessman was so impressed by his honesty that he gave Ravi a job in his company.  Now Ravi's life has changed.

Moral of the story :-

Good deeds never go in vain. Truth and honesty always give good results.
