In olden times, a man was addicted to drugs. He used to be intoxicated all day long. His wife had died. This man had two sons. When the sons grew up, their father also died. The elder son got addicted to drugs just like his father. His condition also became like his father. Whereas, the younger son became a big officer after getting educated.
The officer son had all the comforts. He got respect in the society. People were surprised that one brother was intoxicated while the other brother had become a big officer.
Some people asked the elder son that due to whom he was in such a bad condition?
The elder son said that my condition has become like this because of my father. He used to be intoxicated all day long. I used to watch him and have become like him.
After this, people went to the second son and asked him the same question that due to which person have you become so successful?
The younger son said that I could become such a successful person today because of my father.
Everyone was surprised to hear this. They did not understand. Everyone asked how did you get success because of your father, please explain properly.
The younger son said that my father used to consume intoxicants all day. There used to be fights in the house. Seeing all this, I used to think that all these things are wrong. I do not want to become a person like him. I diverted my attention from all these bad things and started studying. My hard work was successful and today I have become an officer.
